08/31/07: Carter prepares to play golf with Don Ellis (left) & Conway Hall at Sugar Creek CC near Houston.
It was his first round of golf since surgery and, while he was delighted to be back on the course, the results were not pretty... 108!
Note: At this time, Carter still could not rotate his shoulders fully. That adds a new deminsion to swinging a golf club! 08/13/07: The radiated area is easy to identify in this profile shot of Carter after a treatment. The cut line is also visible... starting just below the ear and going straight down before crossing the neck.
NOTE: At this time, Carter had not shaved in a month. Can you see where his beard has fallen out below the jaw line? This may, or may not, grow back. 08/13/07: With the neck so sensitive, the lary tube and collar take their toll.
